Excellent image, full of mood. I love the resulting softness of this technique. Well done!

i haven't play with photogram since i stoped taking photos with Zenit cam and started using digi cam... almost forgot how great it is... beautiful job Andrzej... very interesting
my only tiny crit will be about few more pixels from the right side of the flower :)

For  metapuppet - A photogram is a photograph made without a camera or a lens by placing an object or objects on top of a piece of paper or film coated with light-sensitive materials and then exposing the paper or film to light. Where the object covers the paper, the paper remains unexposed and light in tone: where it does not cover, the paper darkens. If the object is translucent, midtones appear. After exposure the paper is developed and fixed.

Fantastic effect, long live the old obscura effect. I did this in Academic photography, and the effect, to me, is just unbeatable.

the last time i saw anything like this was like 10 years ago....it reminds me of my early days of "knowledge thirst" :) it looks so real :) i'm thinking a pretty unskilled bee would take this as a real flower and try to "steal" some of its goodies :) good job :)

Concept:

Very strong

Technical Skill:

Very strong

Impact/impression:

Very strong
Pros:
The way light has been captured is beautiful! The image is clear and even though the background has no definition, it is not blank space - there is content in every part of this. The petal folding over as well, is nicely done. Many kudos, I know this is hard to do! :)
Cons:
The far left side and upper top-left corner have very little going on, just one shade of gray. I'd like to see the entire background used including those areas, as you have handled the areas near the middle. Also, the leaves may be too pronounced and distract from the actual flower petals - which I, personally, find more interesting (and exceptionally well done!)
Overall opinion/feedback:
Fantastic work. Everything here is very strong and the image is memorable. There couldn't be a more involved process that requires incredibly strong knowledge and expertise in the technique and technology - and it's clear you've done well for yourself in that area as well as make ART! Do more, please!
